So, some time ago I had a visitor to my page who felt that $60 was grossly overpriced for a blacksmith's knife and accompanying sheath. I won't get into the petty personal attacks that were made, but his assertion was essentially that I should be able to turn out such a knife in 10 minutes, give it a fine finish, and sell it for $10.
I knew this was nonsense from the start, but it's hard to shake off that brand of vindictive criticism from someone who claims to be knowledgeable about the subject. I've checked and rechecked my pricing, and for these high carbon knives I'm pretty sure I'm cheating myself blind. I've just now rechecked Etsy

Well, DevArt seems dead these days, killing itself with constant major changes in form and function that didnt need to be made, all in the name of "progress", and driving away its users.
